Lesa Silvermore "So Close, so Far"

Track review by by Jonas

Lesa Silvermore has returned after around 4 years. "So Close, so Far" is immediately one of her best tracks to date. Lesa sings about time passing and finding that your not the same person you once were. The 4 and a half minute long track builds up in its first 40 seconds delivering one of Lesa's catchiest choruses. There is fuzzyness and noise in the mix that gives this track so much energy and texture. Most of Lesa's recordings prior to this has a much softer sound to it. But to me, this is the electric Lisa that I'm accustomed to seeing live.

"So Close, so Far" was released on October 13th, 2023
