Domino Pink is back again with their dreamy garage fuzz sound on their new EP Echolette.
The EP opens up with Get Right, which drones on about the capitalistic pain of selling your soul to get by. An all too relatable feeling.
-“Sold my soul to get by, still no money and these pockets are tight. I was told to get right, I never did and I’m still doing fine”
It really hits the feeling of wanting to still be rebellious, while at the same time tied down to the responsibilities of getting older.
Sunshine is one of the sadder tracks on the EP, but ironically sounds pretty upbeat in a twisted way. A track on hoping to be seen, and really known, and perhaps the pain of loneliness.
-“It’s always been there just begging to be seen, the void that sits in the pit of my mind. Unknown to sunshine, I’m all alone again.”
The EP closes with perhaps my favorite track musically Moon Dunes, which rips and surfs to give us 4 minutes of sweaty dancing jams. It is a track that shows what Domino Pink are all about.
Echolette was released May 2nd, 2025
